On the ‘tube

Not very often, but every once in a while, I’ll post a quick video of something simple, and I notice that everyone immediately wants to grab their whisks and bake it! When it comes to cooking and baking, you need a textual reference of the recipe but having a video to look at is really helpful in making it more approachable! God knows I’ve benefitted from it over the years, so here’s my [very early] attempt at giving it back!

Please watch my YouTube channel (still in the works!) for more of my cooking videos.

  • Vegan Rose and Pistachio Cake on Master Recipes with Chef Vishnu Manohar | I recently collaborated with Chef Vishnu Manohar (owner of the Vishnuji ki Rasoi restaurants in India, and now in Sunnyvale, CA) on a few of my recipes for his channel. Check out this video of us making the Vegan Rose and Pistachio Cake from the blog. (Note: the video is in Marathi, my mother tongue and the language most commonly spoken in the state of Maharashtra, India – but you’ll get the gist!)
  • Gluten-free Penne with Pea-Mint Pesto on Master Recipes with Chef Vishnu Manohar | Another video collaboration with Chef Vishnu during his recent visit to California, where we made this light and easy pasta dish! The recipe for this Pea-Mint Pesto Pasta is on the blog as well. (Note: the video is in Marathi, my mother tongue and the language most commonly spoken in the state of Maharashtra, India – but you’ll get the gist!)
  • Gingerbread Cake on Master Recipes with Chef Vishnu Manohar | A winter special cake, fragrant with warming spices and sweetened with molasses! A lighter, easier, dairy-free version of the authentic Gingerbread, made with coffee instead of stout and a plant-based dairy-free butter (with whole-grain option) is on the blog! (Note: the video is in Marathi, my mother tongue and the language most commonly spoken in the state of Maharashtra, India – but you’ll get the gist!)
